To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what plans he has to sell the track of the docklands light railway and to franchise the operation of rolling stock and stations separately.

Mr. Redwood

The Government are committed to privatising the docklands light railway within the lifetime of this Parliament. The timing, manner and practicality of the privatisation are currently being determined.

Mr. Cousins

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list the chairman and non-executive members of the board of the docklands light railway; what is the remuneration of each; when each was appointed; and what directorships and public appointments each has declared under the company reporting procedures.
