To ask the Secretary of State for National Heritage if he will make a statement on the proposed level of funding for Croydon received from the London Arts Board in 1993.

Mr. Key

The London Arts Board has so far made grants for 1993–94 only to those arts organisations in receipt of annual revenue funding. These include a grant of nearly £40,000 to the Croydon Warehouse, an increase of 50 per cent. over 1992–93. Further grants will be made under a wide range of other project-funding programmes.
