§ Mr. StewartThe Scottish Health Service Advisory Council report "The Care of the Dying and Bereaved in Scotland", published in 1991, sets out general guidelines for good practice in the care of the dying. Health boards, as the registering authority under the Nursing Homes Registration (Scotland) Regulations 1990, expect nursing homes to follow central guidelines as a condition of their registration.
