§ Mr. KeyThe Department of National Heritage provides grant-in-aid in support for national museums and galleries including the Imperial War museum, which holds collections associated with the second world war and the intelligence services. The Government also provide support to the museums in the regions through the Museums and Galleries Commission and its network of area museum councils, which may assist museums holding such collections.
