To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland when he expects to announce arrangements for the privatisation of Northern Ireland Electricity.

Mr. Atkins

Arrangements for the privatisation of NIE are kept under constant review and I hope to be able to make an announcement about this in the near future.
