What is the status of aid relations between the United Kingdom and the Government of Peru.

Given recent steps to restore democratic government in Peru, we have decided to resume those bilateral aid activities which were suspended in April 1992. Work will resume shortly on our offer of £3 million of programme aid and on new technical co-operation activities.
