To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what have been the levels of high-level ozone over the United Kingdom for the last three dates for which figures have been recorded; and what were the figures for equivalent dates in each of the last 10 years.

The most recent three days for which total column ozone measurements are available from Lerwick, Scotland and Camborne, Cornwall are 13,14 and 15 March. The measurements, together with measurements on the same dates for the past 10 years are as follows:
