To ask the Secretary of State for Transport (1) if it remains his policy that the rail link between 16 northern regions and the channel tunnel should be via King's Cross; and if he will make a statement;

(2) if he will publish the latest information available to his Department on plans for the British Rail high-speed rail link through London.
