What proportion of the 20 per cent. of youth training leavers who left youth training for unemployment (Social Trends 23, 4.34) were under 18 at the time of leaving youth training.

In 1990–91, 62 per cent. of those unemployed six months after leaving a youth training scheme were aged under 18 at the time they left their scheme.
