§ Mr. William Ross
To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what representations he has received regarding the European charter for regional or minority languages.

§ Mr. Hanley
The chairman of the Community Relations Council, Dr. James Hawthorne, wrote to the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland on 25 June 1992 to convey the council's desire that the Government ratify the convention in due course.

§ Mr. William Ross
To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what discussions he has had with the Government of the Irish Republic regarding the European charter for regional or minority languages.
