asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether, and if so when, they intend to publish the interim report from the Department of Trade and Industry inspectors into the takeover of Distillers plc by Guinness plc and, if not, why not.

The inspectors are expected to submit a final report to the Secretary of State; publication will be considered when that report is received.
