To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland how many persons were convicted of rape in(a) the Sheriff Court and (b) the High Court in each of the past five years; and how many were sentenced to a period of imprisonment of (i) less than 12 months, (ii) one to three years, (iii) three to five years, (iv) five to eight years and (v) over eight years.
