To ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he will list the travel-to-work areas with lower levels of unemployment than those including Southampton, Itchen in(a) development areas (b) intermediate areas, (c) covered wholly or partly by enterprise zones, (d) urban programme partnership authorities or (e) urban programme authorities.

The Commissioner for the Rights of Trade Union Members may grant assistance to anyone contemplating or taking proceedings against a union, its officials or trustees, for failure to give effect to the statutory rights of members, or for breach of union rules on certain matters. Provided they can bring the relevant proceedings, full-time trade union officers may apply to the Commissioner for such assistance.
