§ Dr. WrightTo ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what are the principles and criteria which will be used to determine to what areas and matters openness will apply in relation to his open government initiative.
§ Mr. WaldegraveThe aim of this initiative is to ensure that we reach the right balance between greater openness and the need to preserve confidentiality and privacy where this is justified.
The Government will be publishing a White Paper later this Session with further proposals on these issues.
