HC Deb 12 March 1993 vol 220 c747W
Mr. Battle

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security if he will give the number of persons without accommodation who were income support recipients in England at May 1991 and at the latest available date(a) by local benefit agency office, (b) by DSS region and (c) for England as a whole by age and whether or not they were unemployed at the time.

Mr. Burt

I understand from Mr. Michael Bichard, chief executive of the Benefits Agency, that the information is not readily available and could be obtained only at disproportionate cost.
