§ Mr. Peter LloydOur current summer time arrangements already make some daylight saving. As I explained on 30 November in reply to the hon. Member for Cannock and Burntwood, a review of its own position on summer time by the European Commission may affect the options for our future arrangements—including options for further extension of daylight hours at the end of the day —and we shall bring forward our own proposals when the Commission's approach is clear.
