§ Mr. Charles WardleAlthough my right hon. and learned Friend has no plans to meet the president of ACPO to discuss these particular matters at the moment, I am aware that chief officers of police have put additional resources into dealing with crime on many inner-city estates. This complements, of course, the significant work being undertaken by the government in preventing crime in these areas.
