§ Mr. Lennox-BoydThe British high commission at Islamabad considered that the further evidence submitted by Mr. Ismail Ghani on 10 February tended to support the passport applications of Shenaz Begum, Afsar Khan, and Shaira Begum but some doubts still remained. As the hon. Member knows, the case was subsequently referred to the Home Office on 2 March. Once the outcome of its inquiries is known, the passport applications will be considered again.
