To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many(a) prosecutions and (b) convictions have been made in each police authority area in respect of (i) the Football Spectators Act 1989 and (ii) the Aggravated Vehicle-Taking Act 1992, respectively, since the Acts came into force.

Information collected centrally on the number of prosecutions, convictions and orders given under the Football Spectators Act 1989 for 1990 and 1991 is given in the table. 1992 data will not be available until autumn 1993.
