§ Mr. Lennox-BoydWe have received representations from a number of sources about abuses of human rights in Kashmir. My right hon. Friend the Prime Minister discussed the situation in Kashmir with the Indian Prime Minister in January, who assured him of his commitment to respect for human rights, that allegations of human rights abuses were investigated, and that those responsible for wrongdoing were punished.
