To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will introduce legislation to amend section 29 of the Criminal Justice Act 1991 so that

[holding answer 5 March 1993]: The Department has urged the promoters of the scheme to consult as widely and as thoroughly as possible with interested parties. The promoters have said they will inform the Department about the outcome of their consultations.
