Whether they will provide detailed figures for local authorities in 1991.92 showing how much was spent on books for the national curriculum under the appropriate heading of the grants for educational support and training.

GEST expenditure allocations in 1991.92 to LEAs in England and Wales for spending on books for the national curriculum are shown in the table. To date, over 94 per cent. of the total allocation for this GEST grant has been claimed by local education authorities.
