To ask the President of the Board of Trade what plans he has to propose legislation under which members of the general public would have access to the minutes of the meetings of the councils of the recognised supervisory bodies.

I have no such plans.

To ask the President of the Board of Trade what plans he has to replace the five recognised accountancy supervisory bodies with a single body.

Mr. Neil Hamilton

I have no plans to revoke the recognition of the supervisory bodies recognised under part II of the Companies Act 1989.
