Mr. Chisholm

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland how many continuing care beds for elderly patients there were in NHS hospitals in each of the last five years; and what projected figures he has for the future.

The information requested for each of the last five years is shown in the following table. Health boards are constantly reviewing their assessment of need, consequently projected figures are not available.
