To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement on the role and powers of the Health and Safety Executive concerning the atomic weapons establishments.

§ Mr. Aitken
The role and powers of the Health and Safety Executive in this respect were outlined on page 41 of the 12th report of the Select Committee on Defence in 1990.
