§ Sir Wyn RobertsNone. Each of the research councils has its own mechanism for distributing awards to students. My right hon. Friend has, however, asked the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales to establish effective working relations with the Advisory Board for the Research Councils and the individual research councils to ensure that the interests of the higher education sector in Wales are taken fully into account at all stages.
