§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonInformation is not collected in the form requested. However, the numbers of persons under 17 in Scotland dealt with for drug offences was 157 in 1990 and 226 in 1991. The equivalent figures for the earlier years requested are not readily available, but I shall write to the hon. Member with further information as soon as possible.
The figures I have given do not indicate whether or not the offence occurred on school premises.
