To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, pursuant to his answer to the hon. Member for Richmond, Yorks (Mr. Hague), of 15 February,Official Report, columns 91–92, what were the voting figures recorded in the meeting of the Agriculture Council held between 9 and 13 February.

At the meeting of the Agriculture Council in question a vote was taken on the proposed arrangements for bananas in the single market. Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands voted against the proposal; all other member states voted in favour.
