§ Mr. EggarI meet the chairman of British Nuclear Fuels plc from time to time to discuss a range of issues involving the company. Occurrences involving releases of radioactivity into the environment are primarily matters for my right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment and my right hon. Friend the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. Her Majesty's inspectorate of pollution and the Ministry of Agriculture, together with the Health and Safety Executive's nuclear installations inspectorate, are carrying out investigations into the causes of the recent releases.
