§ Mr. MorganTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what consultations he has had with English local authorities and other eligible infrastructure-providing bodies concerning the levels of(a) base and (b) supplementary credit approvals with a view to the provision of matching Government funding to maximise successful applications for European regional development fund assistance.
§ Mr. Robin SquireConsultations have been held with the local authority associations concerning methods of distributing supplementary credit approvals in 1993–94 and subsequent financial years to cover grants from the European regional development fund. As already announced, credit approvals will be available at a level of 100 per cent. to cover forecast ERDF receipts.
