§ Mr. MorganTo ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what consultations he has had with Northern Ireland local authorities and other eligible infrastructure-providing bodies concerning the levels of(a) base and (b) supplementary credit approvals with a view to the provision of matching Government funding to maximise successful applications for European regional development fund assistance.
§ Mr. AtkinsIn Northern Ireland the financing of infrastructure-providing bodies, including local authorities, is not dependent upon the issue of credit approvals and consequently there have been no consultations about the level of such approvals.
