§ Mr. BoswellThe Government's expenditure plans for education reflect the Government's judgment of the118W relative needs and pressures on the respective sectors, particularly bearing in mind the projected growth from 1992–93 to 1993–94 of 1.7 per cent. in the number of schoolchildren, 7.9 per cent. in the number of further education students, and 8.5 per cent. in the number of higher education students.
