Dr. Wright

To ask the Secretary of State for Education (1) what has been the average size of class taught by one teacher in primary schools in Staffordshire in each year since 1983;

(2) what percentage of single-teacher classes in Staffordshire comprised more than 30 children in each year since 1983.
