§ Mr. ForthMy right hon. Friend is considering reforms to the training of primary teachers, including possible changes to the training of teachers specialising in the early years of primary education. He intends that these reforms should be introduced in September 1994. Proposals will be issued for public consultation in a few weeks' time.
