To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what plans she has to make 1 March a bank holiday in Wales.

§ Mr. McLoughlin
The Government are currently consulting on changing the May Day bank holiday and hope to announce a decision shortly. However, we have no plans to make 1 March—St. David's day—a bank holiday in Wales.
