To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will make a statement on his plans to improve road links between north and south Wales.

Since 1979, over £180 million has been spent on improvements to the A470 and the A483. We have plans to spend a further £180 million including the major improvements shown in the 1993 supplement to "Roads in Wales".
