HC Deb 01 March 1993 vol 220 cc20-1W
30. Mr. Winnick

To ask the Attorney-General if he will make a statement on his policy of prosecutions for incitement to murder.

The Solicitor-General

The Crown prosecution service would need to be satisfied in such cases that the available evidence was sufficient to provide a realistic prospect of a conviction. If justified on evidential grounds a prosecution would normally be required in the public interest.
