To ask the Secretary of State for Health what estimate she has made of the number of small residential care homes eligible for registration after April.

None. Registration under the Registered Homes (Amendment) Act 1991 is a matter for local authorities.

To ask the Secretary of State for Health what estimates he has made of the resourcing implications for local authorities of the Registered Homes (Amendment) Act 1991.

§ Mr. Yeo
The fees payable to local authorities by those running small homes are intended to meet authorities' registration costs under the Registered Homes (Amendment) Act 1991.
