§ Mr. JackWe received a large number of comments from many organisations on our consultation document on the proposed habitat improvement scheme. The option for water fringe habitats was widely welcomed. We are currently finalising our proposals for the scheme which we will be submitting to the Commission as part of the agri-environmental programme for England.
