§ Mr. MacleanWe receive representations from time to time both about individual cases and about the scope of the powers vested in my right hon. and learned Friend the Attorney-General under the Criminal Justice Act 1988. His careful and discriminating use of those powers has repeatedly proved the wisdom of that legislation.
