§ Mr. Charles WardleThree of the 11 members of the National Board for Crime Prevention have commercial or business backgrounds. They are: Keith Ackroyd, the managing director of the retail division of the Boots Company plc, and chairman of the British Retail Consortium; Peter Batchelor, the executive director of sales and marketing at Vauxhall Motors; and David Sieff, a director at Marks and Spencer.
