§ Mr. SackvilleA task force on myalgic encephalomyelitis—ME—is preparing a report which should provide a basis for considering a more structured approach to research in this field. Both the Medical Research Council, which receives its grant-in-aid from the office of my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, and the Department will continue to receive and evaluate individual proposals for ME research.
