§ Mr. LlwydTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will publish figures of the total number of jobs created by foreign investment in Wales by companies from(a) Japan, 268W (b) Germany, (c) France and (d) the United States of America in each of the past five years; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. RedwoodThe total number of new and safeguarded jobs promised by inward investment projects recorded in the past five financial years is shown in the table. These figures are based on information provided by the companies at the time and take no account of subsequent developments.
As the figures show, the United States and Japan have been especially good generators of jobs in Wales.
