§ Mr. SoamesI have not received any representations concerning the traces of Lindane found in samples of chocolate in the United Kingdom. Within the European Community, Lindane is authorised for use in all member states. We understand from data supplied to UNEP's international register for potentially toxic chemicals that Lindane is banned for use in Argentina, the former Soviet Union and Sweden.
