Mrs. Ann Taylor

To ask the Secretary of State for Education if he will list the respondents to the consultative document "A Common Funding Formula for Grant-maintained Schools" issued on 18 December 1992; and if he will place a copy of each response in the Library.

Mr. Robin Squire

Following is a list of respondents to the consultative document "A Common Funding Formula for Grant-maintained Schools" issued on 18 December 1992. Respondents commented on this consultation paper, as others, on the understanding that their replies would be treated as private correspondence. They may, of course, give their views wider circulation should they wish.

A further consultation document on a common funding formula was issued on 10 June. Section B of that paper contains a summary of responses to the first paper. Copies are available in the Library.
