§ Mr. AitkenMy right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State has not discussed Eurofighter 2000 with his German, Italian and Spanish counterparts this year. I met the State Secretaries of the partner nations on 5 April in Bonn to review progress on the project and I have discussed this matter with my German counterpart, Herr SchÕnbohm, on two further occasions.
§ 29. Mrs. LaitTo ask the Secretary of State for Defence when he next plans to meet his European colleagues to discuss the Eurofighter 2000.
§ Mr. AitkenMy right hon. and learned Friend has no plans at present to meet his German, Italian and Spanish counterparts to discuss Eurofighter 2000.
