Mr. Leighton

To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what was the number of young people on the youth training scheme in the London borough of Newham in each of the last five years; and what percentage(a) finished their course and (b) left early.

Information is not available for the London borough of Newham. Results available are for east London area office, which later became London East training and enterprise council—LETEC—and includes the London borough of Newham.

Table 1 gives the number of youth training and table 2 gives completers and early leavers information, for each of the last five years.
