§ Mr. HanleyIndividual Army careers information offices do not operate capping systems. The total number734W of recruits into the Army is, however, limited by the number of vacancies which are forecast to arise. The acceptance of any potential recruit into the Army is therefore determined centrally and on merit, regardless of the Army careers information office to which he or she applied.
