§ Sir Wyn RobertsThe volumes of timber harvested from Welsh forests since 1979 are shown in the following table, in thousands of cubic metres. The quantity of sawn wood produced from this timber would depend on the end-use and the efficiency of the conversion process, but each cubic metre is likely to produce about 220 board feet of sawnwood.
