A national survey assessing the extent of psychiatric morbidity in Great Britain is currently being carried out by the Office of Population Censuses and Surveys. The survey, the results of which will be available in 1995, will provide information both nationally and regionally on the nature and extent of psychiatric illness amongst adults.
